Gold (XAU/USD) — Detailed Candle-by-Candle Price Action Analysis

1. Reason: Strong Selling Pressure Appeared at the Higher Price Area

The first strong bearish candle shows that sellers became aggressive after price reached the upper resistance area. Buyers were unable to maintain control, and the candle closed strongly lower, indicating that selling pressure had entered the market.

2. Reason: Buyers Attempted a Recovery

The following bullish candle represents a short-term buying reaction. Buyers tried to recover part of the previous bearish move, but the recovery did not show enough strength to create a new higher high.

3. Reason: Sellers Rejected the Recovery

A new bearish candle appeared after the bullish reaction, showing that sellers were still defending the higher level. This rejection indicates that buyers were unable to convert the pullback into a bullish reversal.

4. Reason: Lower High Formation

The recovery stopped below the previous swing high, creating a Lower High (LH). This is important because it confirms that the market is failing to produce higher highs and that the bearish structure is still active.

5. Reason: Bearish Continuation After the Lower High

Once the Lower High was confirmed, strong bearish candles pushed price lower. This confirms that the previous bullish move was only a retracement and not a genuine trend reversal.

6. Reason: Temporary Buyer Reaction

Small bullish candles appeared during the decline as buyers attempted to defend the lower area. However, these candles remained relatively weak and failed to break the bearish structure.

7. Reason: Sellers Absorbed the Buying Pressure

The next bearish candle completely changed the short-term momentum again. Buyers could not maintain the recovery, and sellers used the temporary bullish reaction to continue pushing price lower.

8. Reason: Consolidation Before the Next Expansion

Several small candles formed around the middle of the move. This represents temporary consolidation and indecision, where both buyers and sellers were competing before the next directional move.

9. Reason: Bearish Expansion From Consolidation

A stronger bearish candle finally broke out of the consolidation area. This confirms that sellers won the short-term battle and that the previous consolidation was resolved to the downside.

10. Reason: Pullback Into the Bearish Structure

Price then produced several bullish candles as a corrective move. Buyers were attempting to recover losses, but price remained inside the broader bearish structure.

11. Reason: Buyers Failed to Reclaim the Previous High

The bullish recovery stopped below the previous swing high. This failure created another Lower High, keeping the bearish market structure intact.

12. Reason: HTF Supply Rejection

When price reached the HTF Supply Zone, sellers became active again. The rejection candle from this area shows that the supply zone was respected and buyers were unable to establish acceptance above it.

13. Reason: Strong Bearish Confirmation

Following the supply rejection, consecutive bearish candles appeared. This confirms that the supply reaction was genuine and that sellers were taking control again.

14. Reason: Short-Term Profit Taking / Buyer Reaction

A small bullish candle appeared during the decline. This can represent short-term profit taking or buyers attempting to catch the falling price. However, it did not break the important bearish structure.

15. Reason: Buyers Failed Again

The next bearish candle rejected the bullish reaction and continued lower. This repeated pattern — bullish pullback followed by bearish rejection — is a strong characteristic of the current bearish structure.

16. Reason: Price Entered the Key Decision Area

As price approached the 4,315 / 50% Fibonacci area, the market began showing smaller candles. This indicates hesitation because buyers were attempting to defend the retracement level while sellers were protecting the downside structure.

17. Reason: 50% Retracement Failed to Create a Reversal

Although buyers produced a reaction from the 50% Fibonacci area, they could not create a strong higher high. Therefore, the reaction remained a retracement rather than a confirmed bullish reversal.

18. Reason: Bearish Pressure Returned

A fresh bearish candle appeared after the failed recovery. This showed that sellers were still stronger and that the market was preparing for another move toward the lower structure.

19. Reason: Bearish OB + FVG Became a Decision Zone

Price moved into the Bearish Order Block + Fair Value Gap area. This zone is important because it can act as an institutional selling area where previous bearish displacement originated.

20. Reason: Buyers Tried to Reclaim the Zone

Bullish candles appeared inside the decision zone, showing another attempt by buyers to reclaim the area. However, the recovery remained weak and failed to produce a decisive bullish breakout.

21. Reason: Strong Rejection From the Decision Zone

A strong bearish candle rejected the recovery and pushed price back below the zone. This is important confirmation that sellers were defending the area.

22. Reason: Bearish Break of Market Structure

The next bearish expansion produced a BMS (Break of Market Structure). Price broke an important previous structural level, confirming that sellers had gained further control.

23. Reason: Market Structure Shift Confirmed

After the BMS, the following candles continued producing lower highs and lower lows. This created a clear bearish MSS, confirming that the short-term structure had shifted in favor of sellers.

24. Reason: Pullbacks Are Being Sold

Every bullish reaction is currently being followed by bearish continuation. This tells us that buyers are not getting enough strength to change the trend, while sellers continue using retracements as selling opportunities.

25. Reason: 4,024 Becomes the Major Liquidity / Support Area

The 4,024 area is an important downside level because previous price action created support and potential sell-side liquidity around this region. A decisive bearish break would indicate that sellers are targeting the liquidity below.

26. Reason: Breakdown + Retest Would Strengthen the Bearish Setup

If price breaks below 4,024 with strong bearish candles and then retests the level from underneath, rejection from the retest would provide stronger confirmation for continuation.

27. Reason: 3,795 Is the Major Final Target Area

The 3,795 area represents the lower HTF demand/support region on the chart. If the bearish structure remains valid and 4,024 breaks decisively, this becomes the next major downside objective.

---

COMPLETE MARKET STRUCTURE

HTF Supply → Bearish Rejection → Lower High → Bearish Continuation → Pullback → Supply Rejection → Bearish OB + FVG → BMS → MSS → 4,024 Liquidity → 3,795 Final Target

Professional Trade Logic

Zone → Candle Rejection → Confirmation → Entry → SL Protection → TP1 → Close 50% → Protect Remaining 50% → Hold Toward Final Target

The key point is that one candle alone is not the setup. The strongest confirmation comes when the zone, candle reaction, market structure, and liquidity behavior all align.

As long as price remains below the major resistance/supply structure and continues forming Lower Highs + Lower Lows, bearish continuation remains the dominant scenario.
